Step 1 β Your expected commission rates
Tell CommCheck what each carrier should pay you, per line of business.
These are saved in your browser, so you only do this once. Not sure of a rate?
Check your agent agreement β or start with the examples and adjust.

Step 2 β Upload a commission statement
Download the CSV or Excel statement from any carrier portal and drop it here.
Ugly formatting is fine β dollar signs, commas, extra columns, we'll sort it out in the next step.
π Drop your statement here, or click to choose a file
CSV or Excel (.csv, .xlsx, .xls) Β· Processed locally in your browser

π Just want to see it work?
Load a sample Progressive / Travelers / Safeco statement with real mistakes planted in it β
a missing payment, two underpayments, and a clawback hiding behind a duplicate policy.
You'll see CommCheck catch them in about 30 seconds.
Step 3 β Match the columns
Every carrier names things differently. Tell CommCheck which column is which β
we took a first guess for you. The mapping is remembered for this file layout.
If the file has no carrier column (single-carrier statement), pick βNot in fileβ and type it:
No line column? Pick βNot in fileβ and type it:
The premium the commission is based on.
What the carrier actually paid on each line (negatives = chargebacks).
Flags use a tolerance of $1.00 and 2% β penny-level rounding differences are ignored.
A flag means βworth a second look,β not proof of a carrier error; clawbacks can be legitimate when a policy cancels.
